During the incident on Nov. 25, a security camera at the Fresh Market in Chestnut Hill captured Lloyd filming or taking photos of an accomplice as he spray-painted the words “F**k Trump” on the wall of the grocery store. On Dec. 12, First Deputy City Solicitor Craig Straw said Lloyd would remain in his job, but would have to complete 40 hours of community service. The Solicitor’s Office did not respond to a request for further comment.








Residential Services has been gradually installing new digital security systems since the summer of 2016, after completing a pilot project in Gregory College House in 2015. But when the installations at the gates outside the Quad started around November, the long lines caused students to complain that the new system was inefficient and difficult to use.



The restaurant is styled like a more upscale version of the Chinatown restaurant, with a full bar with ten signature cocktails, private dining rooms and a pool table. The interior is illuminated with Edison bulbs and decorated with Chinese art. 


Penn's own private-prison divestment campaign, Penn Divest from Displacement (PDD) wrote a 2015 editorial in The Daily Pennsylvanian, calling for the University to divest from two prison companies that the group charged with displacing minorities and other oppressed populations.
