The Public Service and Policy Initiative, created in partnership with the Penn Institute for Urban Research, is dedicated to tackling poverty in the city through research and community engagement.

Hamilton’s new program guarantees students early admission into graduate schools at Penn, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Chicago. 

The position is currently held by Wharton professor Gad Allon, who will step down after a decade in the role.

Career Services has historically provided undergraduate students with a wide range of summer funding opportunities, often supporting those who pursue underfunded or unpaid programs. 

The reimagined interior will include the headquarters for the Department of Fine Arts, individual art studios, community design studios, student maker spaces, research facilities, and several multipurpose spaces.

The two-story building, coined the Penn Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, is expected to span 63,000 square feet.

The school’s architecture department welcomed Stephen Kieran, David Moon, Kazuyo Sejima, and James Timberlake ahead of the spring semester. 

In the work, Charenko emphasizes how valuable proxies are in addressing today’s climate challenges.

BILBCON focuses on networking and career development, and this year’s iteration featured a keynote address, panels with entrepreneurs, and breakout sessions with affiliates of global investment firms. 

The event showcased both individual student-artists and creative groups on Penn’s campus.
