The initiative grew out of Penn’s Climate and Sustainability Action Plan to be 100% carbon-neutral by 2042. 

The survey, conducted in August 2025 among almost 1,700 U.S. adults, revealed a decrease in U.S. adults’ likelihood of recommending that eligible children in their household get the MMR vaccine.

The presentation consisted of data collected by the Palestinian-Israeli Pulse Survey on both Palestinian and Israeli opinions surrounding topics such as the Oct. 7 attack.

The forum featured comments from Penn leadership and Philadelphia officials on construction, workforce development, and strategies for the growth of local businesses, while the following expo highlighted 51 local suppliers.

The conversation — which was the latest installment in the Africana Classics Lecture Series — encouraged ‘genuine’ discourse regarding Morrison, her novel, and Black experiences in the United States.
