The revised curriculum includes three parts: a new College Foundations program, a revised distribution of general education requirements, and revamped elective options.
In the April 15 email, Jameson announced that the University will proceed with nine key initiatives centered on building trust, strengthening Penn’s discovery efforts, and extending its global reach.
Student leaders highlighted their efforts to expand available resources, improve how campus groups receive funding, and address institutional issues.

Ahead of the full board’s stated meeting on March 6, trustees met in committee sessions to review updates on Penn’s financial outlook, campus construction projects, and new academic programs.
“Some of us pay, let’s say, almost a hundred thousand dollars in tuition,” Pinto said. “To be living under these conditions, it’s just not adding up.”
