The university announced on Thursday that remaining students who wish to return to Brown’s residence halls are permitted to do so between Sept. 18 to Sept. 20. 

In early August, four Ivy League institutions backtracked on their initial plans for a hybrid fall semester and on-campus living.

Although students will be able to submit standardized test scores, those who do not submit will not be at a disadvantage.

Penn, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Brown, and Dartmouth all saw their lowest admission rates in history – with four of the schools dipping below 6 percent.

Penn hired an outside consultant to review procedures after former men's basketball coach Jerome Allen pleaded guilty in October 2018 to accepting bribes to help a current Penn senior gain admission.

Eells has met with Penn Wellness, the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly, the Undergraduate Assembly, and the Penn Benjamins peer counseling group.

In his new role, Gladney plans to promote the Faculty Excellence and Diversity Initiative, an effort to hire more faculty members of underrepresented minorities at Yale. 

None of the eight colleges received a passing grade. Yale University and Dartmouth College both received F's, putting them at the bottom of the list.
