Vice Provost of University Life Valarie Swain Cade-McCoullum announced Rose's retirement to VPUL directors on March 13, writing that 'Pat is a Penn pioneer in an iconic position.'

Penn's Social Planning and Events Committee announced Friday night that the 2018 Spring Fling Concert will feature four artists. The main concert will take place in Penn Park at 3000 Walnut Street on Saturday, April 14th from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The day of the concert will also be filled with performances from student groups.

In order to sell items with the Penn logo, vendors must apply to the University for a license and, once received, must pay Penn a 10 percent royalty fee of the item’s wholesale cost.

This semester, the College Dean’s Advisory Board have introduced weekly themes to provide more structure to the initiative, and alternating locations to engage a wider variety of students. 

“Prestige is harmful to organizations in that it draws attention to their potential hypocrisy,” the researchers concluded.
