“If you’re open you should be open to hearing people’s differences and move on,” one Wharton student said. “I like to consider myself a feminist, and being pro-life shouldn’t take that away.”

Every match is special in its own way. But then there are those contests that are circled on the calendar months ahead. For Penn men’s tennis, that day is Sunday, when it will be hosting Minnesota bright and early.

Senior captain Matt Nardella and junior captain Josh Pompan were chosen to lead Penn men's tennis to success in this upcoming season as they will face some high competition and competitive rivalries. 

Kana Daniel and Penn women's tennis have high expectations on the court this season. This weekend, they'll get the chance to back them up. Penn (0-2) hosts Temple (3-2) this Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the Hecht Tennis Center.

Despite not winning a team Ivy League title in either the men’s or women’s side, both Quaker teams had impressive seasons. Penn women’s tennis, with their best finish since 2008, finished their season ranked No. 48 nationally in the Intercollegiate Tennis Rankings (ITA). Meanwhile, Penn men’s tennis had a three-win improvement from the year before in the Ivy League.

In just under seven years, Penn men's tennis' Kyle Mautner turned from a kid who practiced very little into one of the most highly touted recruits in the country and one of the best players in the Ivy League. The path to this point required hard work and a lot of time away from home, but for Mautner, it was all part of a special opportunity that has led to him playing at the top of the Quakers’ lineup.

In his statement, he cited a conference this March that many from these Muslim-majority countries will not be able to attend and said that Trump's ban will “stifle the intellectual discourse to which we aspire.”

Adam Wright, who was last seen on campus on Monday night, was found on the bank of the Conneticut River at about 10 a.m.

On Tuesday, it was revealed to the public that fifth-year head coach Bob Heintz would be resigning from his position, effective immediately. Heintz will be taking a role as an assistant coach at ACC powerhouse Duke, and will begin at the start of the Blue Devils’ spring season in February.

The junior senator of New Jersey and former mayor of Newark has recently emerged as one of the most vocal adversaries of the Trump administration.

The letter condemns these bans, stating that Trump's policies seek to "displace our classmates and separate us from our teachers and friends."

Trump’s order transcends mere partisan or intellectual dispute and rather enters the realm of immoral, lawless cruelty. 

The choice of U.S. Sen. Booker (D- N.J.), a vocal critic of Trump's ban, falls in line with Penn's evident distaste for hard-line immigration policy.

Students at Penn from the banned countries now face a heartbreaking choice: remain in the United States indefinitely, unable to travel home and see their families, or forfeit the Penn education they spent years working towards.
