First Round Venture Capital, which has offices in San Francisco and New York, is moving its headquarters from West Conshohocken, Pa. to Philadelphia. Founded in 2004 by 1993 Wharton alumnus Josh Kopelman and former Penn professor Howard Morgan, First Round is the third-busiest venture capital firm in the nation, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Just in time for New Student Orientation, the Budweiser Made in America Festival is coming to Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sept. 1 and 2.

Currently 3,500 to 4,000 people, primarily Penn students, participate in the studies, although faculty and students from nearby universities such as Temple and Drexel, as well as other Philadelphia residents, will participate as well.
