Currently, students can connect to Penn Police by picking up the phone from any of the 700 blue light phone boxes on campus. The proposed change would replace the boxes' phones with a button.

The woman was found in three separate fraternity houses on Locust Walk as well as Civic House. 

On November 28, a confidential case of domestic assault was reported on the 3300 block of Market Street at about 11:40 p.m.

On November 18, a medic reported that the suspect punched her in the back. The incident occurred at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center at about 11:00 p.m. The 69-year-old unaffiliated male suspect, Richard Havens, was arrested.

Three males are suspects in the assault, according to the alert issued at 9:36 p.m. All suspects reportedly wore dark clothing, including dark hooded sweatshirts. 

On Nov. 10, the complainant, a hospital employee, was struck by the defendant, who was a patient. 

Two suspects entered the store with handguns and took money.

Earlier this month, Penn's Division of Public Safety received Security Magazine’s Security 500 award for the No. 1 Public Safety program in higher education for the 13th year in a row. 

University City District Safety Ambassador Brianna Murray was commended for helping rescue occupants from a burning building this summer.

Police announced to bystanders at the scene that the woman was taken to the Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Penn Police and the Penn Medical Emergency Response Team responded to the scene.

A ruptured pipe caused the leak, according to an email from Division of Public Safety Executive Director of Operations Kathleen Shields Anderson.

On October 11, the suspect was observed removing property from the front porch of 4205 Pine St. at about 4:47 p.m.

The alert, which was posted at 4:56 p.m., described the suspect as a male, between 15 to 17 years old. 

On October 4, the complainant reported being in a verbal altercation with the suspect, who then struck him in the head with a chair.
