A student reported her coat and purse missing from her room in the Quad, but there were no signs of forced entry.

Aggravated Assault:

Nov. 22: The complainant reported that the suspect pointed a handgun at him while driving a vehicle. Upon investigation, police found the suspect to have a gun. The incident occurred on the 3400 block of Walnut Street at about 4:03 p.m. The 24-year-old unaffiliated male suspect, Dominic Jones, was arrested.

Disorderly Conduct:

Nov. 22: The suspect was reported causing a public nuisance, using obscene language, making unreasonable noises, and engaging in threatening and violent behavior. The incident occurred at the intersection of 39th and Filbert streets at about 6:02 p.m. The 61-year-old unaffiliated male suspect, Scott Pearson, was given a citation.

Burglary:

Nov. 23: The complainant reported that a concession kiosk had been pried open by an unknown suspect, who entered and removed merchandise. The incident occurred at Franklin Field, located at 233 S. 33rd St., at about 8 p.m.

Nov. 24: The complainant reported that an unknown person removed his personal belongings from his room. The incident occurred at 4050 Spruce St. at about 6:30 p.m.

Public Drunkenness:

Nov. 24: The suspect was causing a disturbance on the highway, yelling and refusing to step out of the street. She was intoxicated, her breath smelled of alcohol, and she had slurred speech. The incident occurred at the intersection of 39th and Ludlow streets, at about 2:42 a.m. The 23-year-old unaffiliated female suspect, Julie Heang, was given a citation.

Robbery:

Nov. 25: The complainant reported that three suspects approached him and demanded his property. They took his cell phone, wallet and other personal items. The incident occurred on the 4000 block of Chancellor Street at about 9:22 p.m.

DUI:

Nov. 26: Police observed the driver asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle with the keys in the ignition. Upon investigation, police found the driver to have slurred speech and appear visibly confused. An open container of alcohol was visible on the vehicle. The incident occurred on the 3900 block of Walnut Street at about 8:20 p.m. The 34-year-old unaffiliated male suspect, Warren Herbin, was arrested.

Fraud:

Nov. 28: The complainant reported losing her credit card holder in the area of 3737 Chestnut St. She discovered her missing bank card had been used to make unauthorized purchases. The incident was reported at about 10:31 a.m.

Domestic Assault:

Nov. 28: A confidential case of domestic assault was reported on the 3300 block of Market Street at about 11:40 p.m.

Theft from Building:

Nov. 22: The complainant reported that her phone was missing from a table where she left it unattended. The incident occurred at Franklin’s Table, located at 3409 Walnut St., at about 1 p.m.

Nov. 22: The complainant reported that her purse was missing from an unsecured office at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, located at 51 N. 39th St., at about 1:55 p.m.

Nov. 22: The complainant reported her coat and purse missing from her room, but there were no signs of forced entry. The incident occurred in the Quad at about 9 p.m.

Nov. 22: The complainant reported that his backpack was missing from the study area after he left it unattended at Houston Hall at about 12:40 p.m.

Retail Theft:

Nov. 25: The complainant reported that the offenders took merchandise and left the store without paying. The incident occurred at the Wawa located at 3744 Spruce St. at about 4:31 p.m. Three juvenile suspects were arrested.

Bike Theft:

Nov. 26: The complainant reported that his bike was missing after he locked it to a bike rack with a cable lock. The incident occurred at the Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter, located at 3231 Walnut St., at about 3 p.m.
