An assault at the 4000 block of Spruce Street prompted a UPennAlert Sunday evening.
According to the Department of Public Safety's website, the suspect is a man wearing dark clothing who was last seen heading westbound on Spruce Street towards 41st Street.
According to the alert sent at 9:41 p.m., police advise students to use caution and avoid the area.
DPS issued an all-clear at 10:05 p.m, stating that it is safe to resume normal activity, but that police and security officers are patrolling the area.
