The University dropped two ranks from last year, now placing behind Princeton University.

Although the Quakers couldn’t find a way to put the ball in the back of the net in their 0-0 draw against Ivy rival Harvard, there were moments that reminded onlookers of what this promising Penn team is capable of.

On Friday, for the 18th consecutive year, Penn volleyball opened its Ivy League season against the Princeton Tigers. And for the second year, the Quakers were swept in three straight sets.

For the third time this season, the Quakers ended a contest in a 0-0 tie, this time against Marist. After 110 minutes, the Quakers and Red Foxes had to settle for a point a piece.

The Quakers took down Cornell, 16-7, in a showdown between the only two Ancient Eight teams in the Collegiate Sprint Football League.

Am I being dramatic? Possibly. Does this discount the necessary conversation about the construct of seniority not being a valid argument in public spaces? Not at all.

Penn launched the most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history this past April. President Gutmann's goal is to raise $4.1 billion for the University.

The total Penn Law School estimated costs — including books, room and board, and other additional expenses — is $95,400 for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The rally, which Obama will be headlining, is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and is for the reelection of United States Senator Bob Casey and Governor Tom Wolf, both of whom are Democrats.
