Harvard President Lawrence Bacow wrote in an email to Harvard affiliates that the university does not intend to make future investments in the fossil fuel industry.

Prior to the attacks, many Penn students said it was just a normal morning. But the attacks threw the day into uncertainty — some students proceeded to class as usual before the University suspended operations, and reporters and editors from The Daily Pennsylvanian rushed to the office to cover the unfolding tragedy.

The 2021 Disorientation Guide, which was compiled by a coalition of student activist groups called the "People's Board," consists of articles about Penn's impact on students, staff, Philadelphia, and the world. 

After Penn opened several new dining locations this semester, students have voiced mixed opinions on the new dining options.

The Pavilion will house the oncology, neuroscience, and cardiovascular care units, and is set to open on Nov. 1.

The petition, which was sent to Penn administrators on Aug. 22, is inclusive of tenured and non-tenured faculty, adjunct professors, lecturers, and graduate student instructors.

While students have eagerly awaited a return to in-person campus life, some are also feeling a sense of anxiety associated with in-person interactions.

A total of 82 students tested positive from Aug. 29 through Sept. 4, slightly fewer than the 85 positive student tests from the week prior.

The partnership is designed to solve social problems that act as social determinants of health, such as economic instability and inadequate education.

La Salle reported 43 positive cases on Sept. 6, up from four cases during the first week of classes.

With Penn's campus once again populated with students, many local restaurants have reopened their doors, and some have normalized their capacities and hours after closing or limiting operations due to COVID-19.

Only one undergraduate student will serve on the search committee for Penn's next president. 

After missing in-person New Student Orientation last fall, the Class of 2024 became the first sophomore class to attend a specialized second-year orientation program.

The event, titled “Annenberg Conversations on Gender: From Algorithm Audits to Accountability,”  featured conversation about implicit biases in Google Image Search results.

The UA internally elected College and Wharton junior Carson Sheumaker as speaker, College sophomore Pranav Tadikonda as secretary, and College junior Sarah Ramadan as treasurer.
