Gymnastics ECAC

This weekend, the Penn gymnastics team will be feeling the pressure. But for the defending ECAC champions, that comes with the territory. The Quakers will be heading up to Cornell hoping to win their second consecutive conference crown.

Familiarity certainly does not breed contempt for Penn women’s tennis as it prepares to take on Temple, which is, after all, one of the Quakers’ most familiar opponents.This Saturday at noon, the Quakers (7-3) will host the Owls (5-8) at Levy Tennis Pavilion for Penn’s last non-Ivy match of the season.

After a dismal start to the season, the Quakers have answered with four straight wins since last Friday. They hope to continue this momentum against Holy Cross on Saturday.





	Rapper Tyga, borh as Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, will be the first opening act for Spring Fling this year. Tyga is known for his hit song “Rack City.”

Rapper Tyga will be coming to Penn on April 12 as the first Spring Fling opening artist. Tyga, born Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, came to fame with songs like “Faded,” “Roger That” and the megahit “Rack City”.

On July 1, 2013, Google will be discontinuing Google Reader, a RSS feed that displays all your news sources, blogs and sites of personal interest in one place. This instance does, however, point to one glaring fact that we internet users like to forget: everything we store on the internet is under the control of someone else, and we don’t have much of a say if that controller decides to take it all away.

When I first got accepted into Penn, I was of course thrilled to bits as you would expect. After all the initial euphoria of getting into an Ivy League college died down, I had a nagging worry at the back of my mind. How would I be able to follow my favorite football club (Arsenal FC) in a country that called it soccer and worshipped the NFL?
