Seven members of Penn men’s lacrosse have been recognized as United States intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-Americans, a program record.

Led by Dave Merrick and Karl Thornton, 1971 Penn cross country achieved impressive results in the Ivy League and at the national level.

Now, as a rising sophomore, I have more certainty and security than I would have had if I had just focused on fulfilling every requirement for the College. 

This weekend, 27 members of Penn track and field will travel to Jacksonville, FL. for the NCAA Preliminaries.

Penn President Amy Gutmann gave the opening speech for the ceremony after 2019 College graduate Shiv Nadkarni performed the national anthem.

Penn Rowing had a solid weekend, with the men’s lightweight team picking up wins and a consistent showing on the women’s side.

The series’ third installment played out much the same as the prior meetings, remaining tight throughout, but this time, the Bulldogs (14-3, 5-1 Ivy) got the edge, defeating the Quakers (12-4, 6-0) in an instant overtime classic, 19-18.

After more than 10 years as an assistant coach for Penn women’s basketball, Bernadette Laukaitis will take on the role of head coach at Holy Family University, her alma mater. 

In just a few days, the class of 2019 is going to graduate. But many individuals, like me, will walk across the stage without any parents present at the ceremony, thanks to President Trump. 

This Sunday, Penn will battle it out against Yale for the final time this season, after having won their two previous matchups.

Sure, I have been cracking unemployment jokes all year to hide how embarrassed I am and to hopefully divert people from feeling any ounce of pity. 

Now having laughed with, worked in, and befriended the Penn community for more than 18 years, Soin is retiring from her position as the first lone staff member at the Pan-Asian American Community House.

In their last meet before the NCAA preliminaries next weekend, Penn track had strong performances at the ECAC & IC4A Championships.

Although the DP helped me avoid my problems, it also provided me with the resources to start acknowledging them. 

Replaying the images from the last four years in my mind, there are many moments at Penn I don’t think I’ll ever forget (and many that are already forgotten). And for the most part, these moments aren’t the planned ones.

Class clownism goes beyond evoking a reaction. 

Before landing in America, I thought I would be able to quickly form friendships at Penn, just like I did back in my university, and have a memorable, if not a little hectic, few months before flying back to normalcy. I just didn’t count on Penn being too busy for me.
