Months after former star player and assistant coach Ira Bowman left Penn men’s basketball for Auburn in July, head coach Steve Donahue announced the promotion of one of Bowman’s former Penn teammates.

Inspired by the 76ers’ arrival on Tuesday, The Daily Pennsylvanian did some research to determine the best athletes to compete on Penn’s campus.  

These course examines determinants of patients' lives—such as lack of insurance, nutrition, and housing—that can be overlooked by the health system.

For four years, the fellowship will be competitively awarded and will cover one year of tuition, living stipend, and education-related expenses.

In total, the junior tailback tallied 163 rushing yard and three touchdowns, and even added 23 more through the air, nearly eclipsing the same 200-yard threshold that he smashed last season.

It is still too early to know just how good the defense is going to be, but these first couple of games should be leaving Quakers fans optimistic.
