“People don’t consider that refugees had a full and vibrant life before they became refugees. This experience of being a refugee isn’t all that they are. They’re so much more than that.”

Krasner, who has no prior experience as a prosecutor, beat Republican Beth Grossman, a former Democrat and assistant district attorney. 

“People can’t agree on facts," College senior Nicholas Hagemann said. "At the end of the debate, they are just saying ‘Your facts are wrong.’”  

Kelly McCoy, a 2017 Lehigh graduate, organized a petition signed by over 30,000 people calling on the University to revoke Trump's honorary degree.

“Some of my students are undocumented, and they deserve better,” said Chemistry professor Zahra Fakhraai, who attended the event.
