The summit was organized by the Penn Society of Psychedelic Science, an interdisciplinary student group dedicated to building an academic community around studying psychedelics.

Students in the class learn about classic epics from the West, such as "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey," and epics from the East, including "Gilgamesh" and "Ramayana."  

Philip Esformes was convicted of 20 federal charges, including bribery, after being charged with 26 counts. With over $1.3 billion in fraudulent Medicare and Medicaid claims, Esformes’ trial marked the largest health care fraud case ever charged by the federal government.

The event consisted of a rally on College Green, a march around campus, a survivor speak-out at Houston Hall, and a debrief at the Penn Women’s Center at the end of the night.

The exhibit, "Memory Keepers: Why Objects Matter," was curated by College junior Megan McKelvey and College seniors Malkia Okech and Madison Greiner.

The research brief, released in March, found that many universities are not complying with regulations that require them to make net price calculators easily accessible on their websites. 

Temple plans to have the new policy instituted by July 1, with full implementation at the start of the school year in September 2019.
