Advance course registration for spring 2022 opens Nov. 1 and closes Nov. 14.

Many students who chose to defer enrollment at Penn said they made the decision to avoid taking classes online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event, “Conspiracy Theory and Political Culture, Past and Present,” covered topics ranging from the use of social media as a means to spread conspiracy theories, to the future prevalence of conspiracy theories in American political culture.

Students said they did not receive proper accommodations when the center, housed in Biotech Commons, closed for reconstruction.

The donation will contribute to a new testing location scheduled to open in the fall of 2022 for students who need accommodations.

The strike would affect all SEPTA lines within Philadelphia city limits. Regional rail lines outside the city, as well as the LUCY bus routes in University City, will continue to operate. 

About 50 students from a variety of local universities — including Penn, Drexel University, and the University of Delaware — attended the virtual event. 

Screenings will be available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 to Oct. 29.

The in-person events at PWH include panels on careers in human rights, international development, national security, and foreign policy.
