Obama rallies voters at Temple

At Temple University on Saturday, the President delivered a short speech to a crowd of approximately 1,500 students and volunteers, imploring them to sign up to canvass before Election Day.


The Student Labor Action Project used Gutmann’s Halloween party as an opportunity to protest Penn’s economic sponsorship of HEI Hotels and Resorts, in a setting where they could not be ignored.

Yale tops Penn, takes top spot

On Saturday, the Quakers faced big deficits midway through each of their sets against Yale, and though the team came close, Penn was never able to draw even with the Bulldogs, losing in straight sets.


Overtime win puts Penn on top

In a dramatic overtime finish, the Quakers managed to rally from a second-half deficit to defeat Brown, 3-2, on Saturday evening. The victory, sparked by junior forward Marin McDermott’s two-goal performance, put the squad in prime position to earn its second-ever outright Ivy League title.







Quakers run wild at Homecoming

After dominating the Bears, 24-7, Saturday at Franklin Field, the Quakers now control their own destiny as the lone remaining undefeated team in the conference.
