Residential Services has been gradually installing new digital security systems since the summer of 2016, after completing a pilot project in Gregory College House in 2015. But when the installations at the gates outside the Quad started around November, the long lines caused students to complain that the new system was inefficient and difficult to use.

The restaurant is styled like a more upscale version of the Chinatown restaurant, with a full bar with ten signature cocktails, private dining rooms and a pool table. The interior is illuminated with Edison bulbs and decorated with Chinese art.

It’s safe to say that Michelle Nwokedi had an enjoyable first week of January. The 6-foot-3 junior forward led the Penn women’s basketball team to two wins, one in California against UC Riverside and the other to open Ivy play at Princeton. As a reward for her efforts in those victories, Nwokedi was named co-Ivy League Player of the Week.
