Penn men’s and women’s swimming will travel to Cornell this weekend to compete in each team’s first tri-meet of the season. The men will look to continue their hot start while the women hope to earn their first conference win of the year.

While Penn women's soccer might have the most important game to play this weekend, here's a look at three others teams that will also be in action.

The Quakers will match up with Columbia on Friday in a battle between two teams currently tied for third place in the Ivy League.

After squaring off against four ranked opponents in one of the nation's toughest early season slates, Penn will hope to carry that momentum when it faces conference rival Cornell and traditionally strong Syracuse. 

Penn continued its impressive start to the season with a 2-0 win over Delaware on Friday and a 4-2 win over Navy despite difficult weather conditions.

It was a busy Fling weekend outdoors for Penn's athletes as men's golf, men's and women's tennis, rowing, and track and field were all in action.

The women's squad held its own against a solid lineup of teams. The Quakers finished the weekend with a record of 3-2, with the two losses against No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 5 Ohio State. On the men's side, the Quakers didn’t fare as well, finishing the weekend 2-3, with losing bouts coming to the hands of the No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 2 Ohio State, and No. 10 Stanford.
