The Jan. 18 event commemorates 400 years since the first Africans were sold as enslaved people in North America. 

Students involved in this project, which began in fall 2017, helped Tina Brosius become Pennsylvania's first woman to be freed from a life sentence since 1990.

Penn men’s basketball has notched yet another unlikely 'first': Big 5 champions, for the first time in seventeen years. 

The Bulldogs came out on top on Saturday, as they bested Penn, 193.775 to 192.350. But even though they weren’t able to oust Yale, the Quakers improved their point totals in three of the four events.
