The project includes improvements to existing structures and the construction of new buildings, specifically Penn's record-breaking $163 million dorm hall New College House West.

Students often complain, and rightly so, because Penn, indeed, has a long way to go in improving their housing situation. But, we must be aware that in comparison to many other colleges, Penn’s housing services are well above average.

Moments of brilliance, like the win over Villanova in December, are nice, but poise that lasts for an entire season? That’s magical. 

The sweep of the New York Ivies makes the Quakers 8-1 in League play with just five regular season games remaining.

The Quakers got the job done on Saturday in a strong 68-50 win over Cornell, which sat two slots above them in the conference standings entering the game. 

From the start of the contest, the Quakers struggled to keep up with the Blue Devils, ultimately losing 17-7. 

In the end, the offenses would come back down to earth and the Quakers would win, 69-58, in a game that was close but never really in doubt.

Saturday's game between Penn women's lacrosse and Johns Hopkins was tightly contested, but the Quakers emerged victorious. 

Penn men's and women's basketball will look to pick up Ivy wins over Cornell on Saturday, as the women tip off at 4:30 while the men take the court at 7:00.

It doesn’t make much sense that a group that beat Villanova, Temple, and Miami (Fla.) this season has a 3-6 Ivy League record. But that’s what can happen when a team struggles to close games out in the final minutes.
