This weekend, Penn volleyball found itself in tight matches with Ivy competitors, splitting the two contests against its farthest Ivy rivals.

In this week's edition of Is Stat So?, both of Penn's football teams struggle on offense, Penn women's soccer proves it can close out games, and and field hockey puts one in at the last moment. 

Penn football has 18 Ivy League titles, tied for the most with Dartmouth. They will not win a 19th this season.

Penn men’s soccer fell to Dartmouth, 1-0, on a chilly Saturday evening in Philadelphia, marking the team's first Ivy League loss of the season and second consecutive defeat.
