Organized by the student organization Interactive Media Group and new location-based services SCVNGR and Venmo, the Venmo Geo Hunt will focus on Penn’s history, drawing students to different locations and give facts about important events.

The results for the 10-week Recycle Mania competition to enhance sustainable activities were released. The competing schools were judged on who could collect the largest amount of total recyclables, the least amount of trash per capita and have the highest recycling rate.


New captains but old legacy

Derham, Lewko and Wynn will be passing on their responsibilities to cornerback and wide receiver Bradford Blackmon, quarterback Keiffer Garton, defensive end Owen Thomas and offensive lineman Joe D’Orazio.

Monday, USA Track and Field announced the relay pools for the USA vs. The World events, which includes several famous Olympians like Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell and Michael Frater.

On his first day on the job, new assistant coach Dan Leibovitz was at work at 7 a.m., conditioning with the men’s basketball team on the track. After 14 hours in his new position, he said "Today was good."
