Organizers of the first fall Power Down Challenge announced that residents of Fisher Hassenfeld, Ware and Riepe college houses reduced their electricity consumption by 20.42 percent collectively.

After being beta-tested in over 80 courses at 30 different universities nationwide, Coursekit — a course management site created by three Penn students that hopes to compete with Blackboard — officially launches to the public today.

2004 College graduate Kevin Neary who was shot in the neck two weeks ago has recently progressed to being able to breathe for a short period of time without a ventilator — but will still need more surgeries to stabilize his neck.
