Fall 2013 Undergraduate Assembly Elections


The losses to Dartmouth and Harvard are just part of what has been a rough patch for the Red and Blue (4-13, 0-5 Ivy). Their last victory was exactly one month ago, during a spring break trip to California.

Hurling up inconsistent  outings

The unpredictable Quakers (13-14, 4-4 Ivy) lost to Harvard twice by scores of 12-9 and 10-9, and split the series with Dartmouth, winning 9-5 and losing in extra innings 3-2.

This weekend, Phi Gamma Delta, also known as Fiji, received a charter to be reinstated as an official Penn fraternity. Brothers will move into their house on 3619 Locust Walk this September.


For Penn poets, it’s Poetry Month every day

The month has been on calendars across the country since 1996, when the Academy of American Poets first created it. Many in the poetry community, however, find that April’s special designation does not make poetry resonate louder than it would any other month.



With new vest, players feel the game

The Tactile Gaming Vest — a vest that makes the player feel the physical effects of being shot in a game — is a Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics class project that was showcased at the 2010 IEEE Haptics Symposium in Boston.
