Impatient as usual, I decided to get a head start on the list of things I'm thankful for with a campus perspective. Here’s a list of a few campus perks that don’t often get the recognition they deserve.

A team of traveling Zeta Tau Alpha leadership consultants will descend on Penn's campus after break to promote the latest addition to the Panhellenic community and familiarize themselves with Penn's Greek system.

Despite falling behind in many of their races, the Quakers came back back to touch out their opponents at the end to edge out a win against the Big Red, 156-144, and stay close in a 171.50-121.50 loss to Princeton.


Penn nabs Keystone title

The Penn wrestling team made a bold statement in its home gym at Sunday’s Keystone Classic, reclaiming the team trophy that it last held in 2008.


Multiple shots were fired shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday near 40th and Locust streets, leaving one dead. The man was a suspect in a carjacking near 50th and Arch streets.

DPS deserves praise for promptly securing the area. We are grateful that the situation was dealt with quickly and that no students were hurt. Still, DPS should have sent the e-mail sooner.

Construction on Clark Park A began in September, and officials set Thanksgiving as the tentative completion date. However, waiting for inspectors’ reviews caused the project to fall behind schedule.
