Fall 2013 Undergraduate Assembly Elections

No Penn-Princeton on ESPNU

While a national network typically airs one edition of the historic rivalry each season, this year ESPNU will televise Harvard vs. Princeton on Feb. 4.


College sophomore Alex Amaniel accepted the invitation to serve as an Undergraduate Assembly College representative Thursday morning. He replaced College sophomore Michael Levenstein, who resigned late Monday.

For anyone even vaguely familiar with the Collegiate Sprint Football League, it should come as no surprise that the road to the title will go through Navy. The Midshipmen have not lost a single game since the 2006 season and are poised to win their 35th CSFL title.

Bank Robberies near Penn

The two suspects in last week’s bank robberies near campus are still at large, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Philadelphia division, which is in charge of the investigations.



PennEats Restaurants

PennEats is a student-run company that allows members to save 10 percent at nine participating restaurants near Penn such as Pod and Marathon.



New club knits for charity

This semester, College junior Sydney Scott is starting a new club — Stitch for Kids. The organization, which held its first meeting Wednesday, aims to build a community of knitters at Penn to make blankets for sick children.
