Fall 2013 Undergraduate Assembly Elections


Penn wrestling had a chance to assert its prowess facing two top fifteen opponents before heading into winter break. But after falling to No. 10 Lehigh last week, experience was Penn’s achilles heel this week, as No. 15 Maryland triumphed over the Quakers, 21-15.

After suffering a 31-point loss at Notre Dame, Penn women’s basketball was staring at two losses on the young season. Down 10 in the first half to visiting Army, the Quakers responded to their first real bout of adversity and rallied for a 70-60 win to continue the best start in program history.

The George A. Weiss Pavilion, located in the north arcade of Franklin Field, was given a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design gold certification from the United States Green Building Council, Facilities and Real Estate Services announced on Friday.
