The Daily Pennsylvanian's sports staff collectively voted on the athletes, coaches, teams, and moments that shined the brightest during the 2022-23 season.

The senior guard played in a total of 85 games during his time in Red and Blue — averaging 4.4 points per game and 4.6 rebounds throughout his career.

The team clinched its first Ivy League Championship in nearly 10 years and went on a historic NCAA Tournament run.

In her first year, the freshman's strong vault routine helped guide Penn gymnastics to numerous first-place finishes and a GEC Championship.

The freshman was named a second-team All-American in the sabre at the NCAA Championships. 

Kalandadze notched two Ivy titles in the 500- and 1650-yard freestyle, as well as remarkably improving on her NCAA performance from last year.

The junior guard led Penn men's basketball — and finished second nationally — with 23.4 points per game.

Students from Fossil Free Penn objected to several clauses of the interpretation, urging The Committee on Open Expression to take a more active role in protecting students’ right to protest. 

Penn’s average Ph.D. student stipend is 1.23% of its president’s salary, while the Ivy League’s average graduate student stipend is 2.53% of the average president’s salary.
