This academic year, SAC has $1,001,067 allocated from the Undergraduate Assembly to distribute to the 201 student groups it recognizes.

This August, along with reminding me to ignore the liberals and to enjoy Penn State, my family members and neighbors advised me to avoid the “bad parts of town.”

During the beginning of each school year, we are all involved in making sure freshmen know what’s what on campus. We want them to know about our club, our major, our leadership opportunities. Yet most of us don’t know half of what occurs at Penn.

Particularly when tied with the Voter ID laws, many Democrats label the new redistricting plan as an attempt at gerrymandering given that the GOP has a majority in both chambers and lead the drafting of the maps proposed in January and April.

“There was a culture at Harvard where it was acceptable to collaborate on take-homes,” said Engineering junior Sharon Roth, co-chair of the University Honor Council, a student group that works closely with the OSC to promote academic integrity. “That’s not allowed here.”

For Critical Writing Program Director Valerie Ross, the access codes to the online programs are an added bonus that come at a better price. However, College junior Aliyyah Camp said that her writing seminar did not use the codes at all.
