Feb. 15 — A victim reported a case of indecent assault by an acquaintance at the 3400 block of Sansom St. at around 9:30 p.m.
Assault
Feb. 16 — Hasan Ozturk, 30, unaffiliated with the University and of the 4400 block of Walnut St., was arrested for assaulting a 29-year-old female unaffiliated with the University at the 4200 block of Locust St. at around 7:00 p.m.
Feb. 16 — A 22-year-old male unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect assaulted him at the 3900 block of Walnut St. at around 2:45 a.m.
Narcotic
Feb. 15 — Kevin Kissling, 39, unaffiliated with the University and of the 10 block of Lewis Ave., was arrested for possessing narcotics upon being admitted into the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 3400 Spruce St. at around 10:15 a.m.
Vandalism
Feb. 10 — A 21-year-old female student reported that an unknown suspect broke the rear window of her apartment on the 4000 block of Locust St. at around 2:45 a.m.
Fraud
Feb. 16 — A 20-year-old female student reported her unsecured ATM card was left inside the machine and an unknown suspect withdrew and used the card at the Bank of America — located at 3925 Walnut St. — at around 10:00 a.m.
Theft
Feb. 16 — A 17-year-old female suspect was arrested after a male, unaffiliated with the University, reported her attempt to leave Urban Outfitters — located at 110 S. 36th St. — without paying at around 5:00 p.m.
Feb. 15 — A 19-year-old female student reported her unsecured bike was taken by an unknown suspect at the Caster Building — located at 3701 Locust Walk — at around 2 p.m.
Feb. 15 — A 23-year-old male student reported that his unsecured laptop was taken by an unknown suspect at the Moore School — located at 200 S. 33rd St. — at around 3:15 p.m.
Feb. 14 — Alicia Coleman, 43, unaffiliated with the University and of the 3600 block of Melon St., was arrested for attempting to leave the Penn Bookstore without rendering payment for itens at 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 13 — A 35-year-old female unaffiliated with the University reported that her unsecured purse was taken off the back of her chair at the Sheraton — located at 3549 Chestnut St. — at around 7:00 p.m.
Feb. 12 — A female unaffiliated with the University reported two unknown suspects exited American Apparel — located at 3661 Walnut St. — without rendering payment for items at around 3:15 p.m.
Feb. 12 — Nathaniel Douglas, 52, unaffiliated with the University and of the 200 block of N. 4th St., was arrested after a 38-year-old male unaffiliated with the University reported that Douglas left Fresh Grocer — located at 4001 Walnut St. — without paying for items at around 5:15 p.m.
Feb. 11 — A 48-year-old male unaffiliated with the University reported that his unsecured laptop was taken by an unknown suspect at the 4100 block of Walnut St. at around 10:00 a.m.
Feb. 10 — A 45-year-old female unaffiliated with the University reported that an unknown suspect exited Wawa — located at 3744 Spruce St. — without rendering payment for items at around 9:15 a.m.
Other Offense
Feb. 10 — Brett Ross, 19, unaffiliated with the University and of the 400 block of Glencrest Circle, was arrested for skateboarding on the steps of Rodin College House at around 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 10 — Jacob Todd, 19, unaffiliated with the University and of the unit block of Marylyn Lake, and Michael Moll, 20, unaffiliated with the University and of the 100 block of Noel Circle, were arrested for skateboarding on the steps of Rodin College House at around 6:30 p.m.
Lost and Found
Feb. 11 — A male unaffiliated with the University reported that his unsecured coat and its pocket’s contents were taken from the back of his chair by an unknown suspect at Cavanaugh’s — located at 119 S. 39th St. — at around 11:00 a.m. Cavanaugh’s later found it and put it in safekeeping to return to the complainant.
