Assault
Feb. 1 - A male student, 20, reported at about 5:30 p.m. that several unknown suspects allegedly assaulted him while he was walking on the 3900 block of Sansom Street.
Feb. 2 - Joseph Wojciechowski, 22, unaffiliated with the University and of the 300 block of 34th Street, was arrested at about 11 p.m. after allegedly striking a man, 30, unaffiliated with the University, in the mouth at Cavanaugh's, located at 119 S. 39th St.
Burglary
Jan. 26 - A female student, 23, reported at about 7 p.m. that someone removed property from her residence on the 4100 block of Spruce Street.
Jan. 26 - A male student, 24, and a female student, 24, reported at about midnight that an unknown suspect removed property from their residence at Berkshire Apartments, located at 4101 Spruce St.
Fraud
Jan. 26 - Louis Yancey, 50, unaffiliated with the University and of the 2400 block of West Oxford Street, was arrested at about 1:15 p.m. for attempting to fraudulently cash a check at Wachovia Bank, located at 3401 Chestnut St.
Theft
Jan. 26 - Two unknown suspects were reported to have left the T-Mobile Store, located at 3441 Chestnut St., at about 6 p.m. without paying for merchandise valued at approximately $800.
Jan. 27 - A woman unaffiliated with the University, 23, reported at about 1:15 p.m. that someone removed her wallet from her unattended handbag at the Penn Bookstore, located at 3601 Walnut St.
Jan. 28 - Various work tools were reported taken at about 8:15 a.m from a secured van at Facilities & Real Estate Services, located at 3101 Walnut St.
Jan. 28 - A male student, 22, reported at about 11:15 a.m. that his Wii video game console was removed from a common area in Riepe College House.
Jan. 28 - Ayanga Thomas, 34, unaffiliated with the University, of the 1400 block of South Hicks Street, was arrested at about 2:15 p.m. for allegedly attempting to leave CVS, located at 3401 Walnut St., without paying.
Jan. 29 - A female student, 29, reported at about 1:30 p.m. that an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her unattended bag at the Penn Sports Medicine Center, located at 235 S. 33rd St.
Jan. 29 - Jakia Murray, 33, unaffiliated with the University and of the 1200 block of South Ringgold Street, was arrested at about 7:15 p.m. for allegedly attempting to leave Douglas Cosmetics, located at 3603 Walnut St., without paying for merchandise valued at approximately $331.
Jan. 30 - A male student, 24, reported at about 5 p.m. that an unknown suspect broke the window on the driver's side of his vehicle, parked on the 4200 block of Sansom Street, and removed the radio.
Jan. 31 - A male student, 21, reported at about 2:45 a.m., while having a party, that an unknown suspect entered his residence, located on the 200 block of South 41st Street, and attempted to remove property.
