Amid the coronavirus outbreak, members of the Penn community find themselves quarantined across the globe. Here are their views.

Interfraternity Council President and College junior Louis Galarowicz said most fraternities plan to either refund or credit approximately half of the dues paid this semester.

Penn has updated the Student FAQ section on the University Coronavirus website, stating that the University cannot predict what will happen in the fall but is planning for every possibility amid the pandemic.

Students resorted to online video chat platforms such as Zoom to connect with distant loved ones and attend virtual services over the holidays, and many got creative with substitutes for various components of their religious traditions. 

Penn for Bernie's board members wrote in an emailed statement to The Daily Pennsylvanian that although they "revere" Sanders, they do not agree with his decision and "are not a cult who will follow him in each and every direction."

Professors must aim to grade assignments promptly before April 29 for the pass/fail opt-in extension to have any practical meaning.  

No changes will be made to tuition, fee charges, and grading policies for credit-bearing undergraduate courses in the summer sessions, the email read.

Perry World House seeks to publish three to four diary entries per week, which can be submitted anonymously or under a byline.

For students who have not made a decision about pass/fail by April 13, the Office of the University Registrar has created a Petition for Change of Grading Option that students can fill out anytime from April 14 to April 29.

PURM will notify students over the next several weeks beginning April 13 on whether they have been matched with a professor to conduct research over the summer. 

While students are disappointed that they did not get the study abroad experience they had imagined, they said they are grateful to be at home, safe with their families.

2014 College graduate Dylan Hansen-Fliedner connected with hundreds of Penn students and faculty online to discuss his experience editing the hit Netflix documentary series.

Penn students on dining plans will now receive refunds for their remaining spring semester meal plan balance, and departed College House residents will receive pro-rated reimbursements in May on their student billing accounts.

Provost Wendell Pritchett announced the change and the suspension of the 2019-2020 Dean's List in a Thursday afternoon email to Penn undergraduates.
