The Admissions Dean’s Advisory Board — which Dean of Admissions Eric Furda brought together last year to involve undergraduates in the University’s recruitment process — is currently piloting a program for academic likely letter recipients.

SEPTA announced it will unveil a new fare system by the end of 2013. The new fare technology — one of several updates being made to Philadelphia’s transit system — will allow patrons to use train passes instead of tokens. It will also allow people to pay with credit and debit cards.

Not a single crime has yet to be reported at Penn Park. The 24-hour security and patrolling officers on cars, bicycles and electric three-wheeled T3 vehicles help keep the area safe. However, according to DPS, its surveillance system is no different from the one used on the rest of campus.

MidAtlantic Restaurant & Tap Room — located at the University City Science Center on 37th and Market streets — will permanently close its doors on Feb. 24.
