Men's basketball head coach Steve Donahue officially announced his six Class of 2020 recruits to the team recently to complete the roster for the 2016-17 season. Or so we thought. Donahue announced last week via a press release through Penn Athletics that one more addition has been made to the squad, in the form of a transfer student from Lassen Community College in northern California. 





Wharton professor Eric Schoenberg paid the Democratic National Committee over $100,000 this year, which included $75,000 to help pay costs of the convention

The interesting thing about the press is although we expend an enormous amount of time and energy investigating everyone else’s business, the actual mechanisms of the press are often opaque.


While the rest of the world sees our violence, turbulence, and political instability, they also see that we at least still hold on to the integrity of our anger and our desire to listen and be heard worldwide.

Unlike the numerous road closures experienced during the Pope Francis visit last fall, the Democratic National Convention that is set to take place from July 25th to July 28th should be more quite near the University City area and students should experience fewer, if any disturbances as a result of the convention.
