On Thursday, Sept. 22nd just after 3:00 p.m., I was flipping through my phone while waiting for the exams to be passed out in my Biology class.

Just over a month ago, the undergraduates voted whether Penn should divest from fossil fuels, and an overwhelming 87.8 percent of participants voted yes.

Climate change is scary. 2014 was the hottest year on record. Scientific predictions of climate change impacts are being realized as we encounter more extreme storms, rising sea levels and devastating droughts.
