The Quakers (4-12-1, 2-4-1 Ivy) held the Crimson (2-10-4, 1-4-2) scoreless in the match and scored three goals in the second half to secure the victory. 

Organized by the College Dean’s Advisory Board in conjunction with Penn Wellness, the event entitled “Deconstructing the Penn Face” featured six undergraduate panelists. 

For the coming semester, 7 of 23 French courses offered fulfill a general education requirement, but of 19 Chinese courses offered, none fulfills any requirements. 

"[T]his is one of the only opportunities that many students and student groups can voice their concerns," said College junior Jamie Ye, the Political Chair for PAGE. 

Wharton freshman Jack McKnight launched a petition last week calling for Penn to reevaluate its dining policies. As of Nov. 12, it had garnered more than 580 signatures. 

Dominating an outmatched Harvard defensive front all afternoon long, senior running back Tre Solomon put up a career-high 181 rushing yards on only 15 carries against Harvard, propelling Penn to a 23-6 win and comfortably earning honors as the DP Sports Player of the Week.

Penn swimming and diving got mixed results this weekend in a dual meet against local rival Villanova. While the men picked up their first win of the season, 186-111, with many first-place finishes, the Wildcats defeated the women, 181-119. 

An Engineering sophomore, who has collected approximately 200 illegally download films on his computer, received a warning email but did not face further repercussions. 

This weekend, Penn and Drexel co-hosted the first annual Pennsylvania State Classic Squash tournament. The tournament included four teams: Drexel, Franklin and Marshall, Dickinson and Penn. The tournament was a success for Penn in every sense of the word — the tournament was organized to perfection, and Penn finished in first place for both its men’s and women’s teams.

Competing at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals, the men and women saw their seasons come to an end as the teams both finished sixth. Both teams would have needed to finish in the top two out of more than 25 teams in each field to advance as a team to Nationals.

The Major Advising Program allows students to find peer advisors within a certain major on an online database. Current advisors say not enough underclassmen seem aware of the resource.

The renovated market will feature a Mongolian grill station, a sandwich carving station, as well as new kiosk portals where students can place orders and pay for items.

Though Yale, which now sits atop the Ivy rankings with a 5-1 conference record, may have something to say about this, there is no doubt that the Quakers are one of the hottest teams in the conference, having won three straight, completely turning around a season that was labeled by many as a failure just three weeks ago.

Unfortunately, Yale’s victory over Princeton eliminated the Red and Blue from repeating as Ivy League champions for the third straight year. 

That was not the opener they had hoped for. In their first game of the season, Penn men's basketball fell to Fairfield, 80-72. The Quakers were very streaky all game, and despite coming out of the gate with lots of fire, they faltered later in the game.

On the first play from scrimmage, senior running back Tre Solomon took a jet sweep all the way to the house, a 77-yard touchdown that gave the Quakers an early 7-0 lead.
