With nine undergraduate groups run by the Lambda Alliance and over 20 lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender groups in total, there is a sizeable LGBT community at Penn. But some argue that it has not taken adequate interest in political movements off campus.

Ace pitcher quits Softball

Jessie Lupardus carried Penn softball on her left shoulder for two years, but she decided to leave the program after last season due to off-the-field issues.

What's in the 'Quaker' name?

Many students go through their years at Penn without realizing that the University is, in fact, not a Quaker institution, nor did it ever have any religious ties to Quakerism.
