Penn students react to meal swipe policy enactment

Last week, Business Services sent students who purchased the Eat Any Time meal plan an email restating its policy regarding “moocher meals” — the number of guest swipes allocated to each student. On Tuesday, the president announced a “Pay as You Earn” proposal to help struggling college graduates with student loan debt, though officials believe the proposal will only translate to Penn “minimally” because of Penn’s no-loan financial aid policy.

The Young Americans for Obama program will hold its national launch event in Houston Hall’s Hall of Flags Wednesday at 6 p.m. The National Obama Student Summit, which will be broadcast on national television, will feature appearances by Obama Campaign Manager Jim Messina and Philadelphia Mayor and 1976 Wharton graduate Michael Nutter.
