The Daily Pennsylvanian

The Class of 2026 arrived at Penn during a year of increased student activism over the University’s fossil fuel investments and its role in housing across Philadelphia.

Four years later, the class is graduating from a university that has weathered intense federal scrutiny, seen major labor organizing movements, navigated administrative turmoil, launched new academic initiatives, and welcomed a new president.

The graduating class has lived through significant political developments at both the local and national level. They’ve witnessed multiple investigations into the University on issues of campus antisemitism, price-fixing across the Ivy League, and a Title IX violation

Through it all, graduating seniors have reached new athletic milestones, contributed to innovative research, shaped the future of Penn, and demonstrated what matters to them before their community and the world.
