Penn is ranked the number five school for social science majors.
According to USA TODAY College, the School of Arts and Sciences offers some of the best programs in the social sciences, including sociology, criminology and psychology. Unique to Penn is its Social Science and Policy Forum, which "builds scholarship around areas of public interest." On average, social science majors at Penn earn mid-career salaries of $105,000.
