The Illinois student who was accused of sexually assaulting someone while re-enacting "50 Shades of Grey" has been cleared after a judge threw the case out.
Mohammad Hossain, a student at Illinois-Chicago, was arrested in February for a "50 Shades of Grey" style assault but the judge in the case found no probable cause.
The accuser testified for over 90 minutes while describing her encounter, which she said began as consensual. She said she told Hossain to stop after he hit her with a belt. When the judge asked if she said anything to Hossain after her wrists were bounded or during the sexual assault, she said no.
Hossain still says the sex was consensual.
The "50 Shades of Grey" movie caused a stir on campuses across the country, including Penn, due to its depiction of sexual violence.
