Yale's chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon was banned from campus until August 2016 after a presentation at their 2014 initiation ceremony violated the University's sexual misconduct policy.
According to a Yale Daily News report, the fraternity will be banned from on-campus activities, university-wide emails and the use of the SAE name in conjunction with the University.
The ban stems from an incident where two members of the fraternity made inappropriate comments about a female student during the initiation ceremony. A letter sent out by Yale College Dean Jonathan Holloway said that members of the fraternity also impeded the investigation.
