The Wharton School's international draw is quantifiable: An Aug. 29 report from the Brookings Institution found that almost one in three international students is drawn to the U.S. to study business, management or marketing.

The report, which studied foreign student visas from 2001-2012,  ranked Penn 18th in number of total students with F-1 visas with a total of 7,404 foreign students enrolled.
