Running a business is hard. It's especially difficult when you have classes, activities, and somewhat of a soical life. Remarkably, with all these conflicting interests, the Business Board is able to keep the paper running like a well-oiled machine. This year's crop of managers includes: Justin Foa -- Associate Business Manager- Advertising Born and raised in New York City, Foa will oversee the advertising side of the paper, which includes the sales, marketing, creative services and production departments. Having developed exceptional selling skills as a sales rep, the Board hopes he can stop hitting on the Internal Sales staff long enough to motivate his managers. Matthew Kratter- Associate Business Manager- Financial Kratter was born in New York City and now lives in Suffern, New York, which he vehemently insists is not upstate and definitely not Long Island. He sits on too many boring committees including the Student Committee on Undergraduate Education Steering Committee. His pride is the Bookstore committee. Loong Chen- Computer Services Manager Born in Singapore and now living in suburban Minneapolis, Loong, otherwise known as "the Donger", is in charge of a computer system rivaling any of the Fortune 500 firms. His 15 minutes of fame were used up in the Anita Hill-Clarence Thomas hearings where he was reported to be the star of a movie. Pritam Doshi- Creative Services Manager From Bombay, Doshi is responsible for creating. He creates. Creating this and creating that, he is so wild that instead of going home for Winter Break, he drove to Atlanitc City in his Tercel. Eric Einstein- Production Manager Hailing from Sharon, Massachusettes, Einstein designs the paper each and every night. He is not related to the real smart guy, but he does have a pig named Albert. Kathleen Emberger- Training Manager Training the staff is hard to do. Not only do you have to deal with new staffers, but you must deal with new managers as well. But, this should not be a problem for Emberger, since she and her New Joisey style put everyone in line. David Krieger- Finance Manager Born in D.C. and currently living in Ft. Lauderdale, Krieger will make sure the DP doesn't spend itself to death. When asked why he would leave the beaches of Florida for West Philadelphia he replied, "It's too dangerous in Miami." Jill Tilzer- Sales Manager Born and raised in Kansas, Jill will take charge of the DP sales department. It is her job to movitivate, and she does it well. She lives at 10123 Yellow Brick Road and has a dog named Toto. She denies any connection to Dorothy, but she has an Aunty Em . . . really she does. Gur Tsabar- Marketing Manager Gur claims to be a 100 percent Texas-born Israeli. He will have to use all of his naturally inherited skills in order to spread the DP's name. When asked about his girlfriend he replied, "she told me she had heard that big things come from Texas, she didn't believe it then, but she does now." Mark Saiontz- Credit Manager Conceived in the Bronx and currently residing in North Palm Beach, Mark must deal with all of the paper's clients. Jason Polevoy- Associate Sales Manager From the heart of the world, NYC, Jason will help Jill run the sales department. When kidded about his membership in AEPi he exclaimed he was "looking for cultural diversity."
