LETTER: Into Country

To the Editor: Yes, there are others like Steinmetz here at Penn, and I think our numbers are increasing. Within the past couple of weeks, I've met three new people who are really into country -- and y'all know who you are! If anybody took Steinmetz's idea of a Penn Country Club seriously, I'm up for it. I think SPEC should book a country band for Fling, and I'd love to get The Nashville Network on campus. The "hog roast/beer blast/square dance" is the best idea I've heard in a long time! Maybe we could all do the "Achy Breaky," -- my friends and I just learned how! Seriously, anyone interested in roasting pigs, drinking beer and listening to some Garth -- just give me a call and we'll get something together. Don't be afraid, I won't tell anyone you called!
