To the Editor: Voter turnout was higher than it has been in years. However, I would like to make one correction to the article "Voter turnout jumps 10 percent" (DP 10/30/92) -- this year's turnout was actually 31 percent higher than last year, not 10 percent. The NEC is very encouraged by the positive response of the Class of 1996. Please maintain your interest in student government by continuing to cast your ballots and making an active choice. The only way that all students interests can be addressed is by having your voices heard. If you are interested in becoming further involved in Penn government, please call the NEC/UA office at 898-8909. Congratulations, again, to all of the new UA members!
