Just recently, the Undergraduate Assembly, our student governing body, published its free calendars for the 1992-93 Academic Year. Only they didn't spell it "calendar." They spelled it C-A-L-A-N-D-E-R. As in, "potatoe." UA leaders, for their part, maintain the misspelling was intentional. Supposedly, the error is just part of the pre-school theme of the calendar's cover design. What politicians lack in spelling, they make up for in spin control.
